Thanks to my wonderful bitch ho Andee, who so politly informed me that I had forgotten my second "o" in my blog title Too Strung Up To Sleep. I cant spell if my life depended on it, and didnt even realize I had spelled it wrong. Yes, I am that cool.

Just Another Monday

Not much going on today. We might be going to Utah to go skiing (we'll Boy to go snowboarding since I cant). Were having trouble booking the flights because the airline keeps blocking out our flights out there. That and we can only get one ticket with the Sky Miles we have because their expired which isnt a problem because I can activate them at any time. It will just take 8-12 weeks before I see them and thats definaly going before then. And regular tickets are fucking retardedly expenisve. I Boy to take my moms points and go. I dont mind staying home. I cant ski anywat right now and one of us should be able to have fun.

That and I hate flying. Those long trips kill my leg. That and its impossible to get comfortable so all I do is squerm and it suck. As much as I want to go to Utah because its beautiful and they have some great trails and rocks climbing, I would rather stay home and keep healing. I really dont care if he goes. I would love for him to go though. It would be a nice break and he'll have a great time and traveling..

Also ftlled on an app. For The township possition is for a clerk/dispatch possition. I hope I get. I;ll be going to into interview, *again* if i get it.

Ok, pain meds and sleeping pills are kicking in so Im going to bed. I can bearly see, let alone type without nodding off.

Back Home

So we got back from Higgins Lake tonight. There's a bad ice storm coming in and no one wanted to drive in it tomorrow so we all decided to leave tonight.

It was a relaxing day. I hung out with the Boys friends wife, Danielle. She's super nice and we went to this GIANT craft store in town and it was awesome. They had everything in there. I saw some sock yarn I have never seen by Lion Brand. But other then that, their yarn selection kinda sucked. But their other craft stuff was cool. SOOOO much scrap booking stuff I couldnt believe it. Some awesome beads I was looking at for stitch markers I want to make for my site. I plan on making sweet custom stitch markers for the site. Every knitter and hooker needs a good set of stitch markers. I did buy a panoramic picture frame while I was there because its the first place in almost 3 years I could find one. Im putting this super cute picture of Boy and I at the race track in it.

George (my knee) is KILLING me. I was on it all day and I had to walk over uneven snow up north because they got a foot the night before we got there so nothing was shoveled. I thought I was going to die by the time I got all the way up to the cottage and up the stairs. George was having none of this nonesense. He gave up so I couldnt walk. Then walking through craft store, my brace was sqeaking. It was so annoying. You could here me walking from the next isle over. I need some WD-40 for it.

Im really against knitting baby clothes because I hate kids. Period. But the little girl Boys co-worker has is really cute and I want to test some patterns out on her so Im all for it at the moment. That and I dont have to buy the yarn, because Danielle is, so all I have to do is knit. I have plenty of time for that. Plus baby clothes are really fast to knit so it wont take long.

OK, Im ready for bed.

Valentines Day Sucks

Yes, Valentines day does suck. Its a lame holiday that makes single people, and non single people whose spouses dont believe in it, feel like shit. So I say BOOO to Valentines Day.

Tuesday was not a good day. I had my one week Doctors appointment which did go good. Got my steary stiches off, got a good look at the incisions, then they put more on. Got the okay to have full 90 degree's of motion, and the okay to not wear my brace if I dont want too (yesss!). But my knee was Killing me. It was bad. PT was even worse. I cried. George (Tia's affectionate name for my knee) just didnt want to work with me. It was stiff, didnt want to bend and wanted to fight with me the whole way. I couldnt get the pain to stop. I was up all night, again. This deep, bone jarring, aching just wont stop. The pain meds wont even work.

We might be going up to Boyne this weekend so Boy and another guy he works with can go snowboarding. The other guys wife is coming with their new baby, who actually is almost one I think. She had her 2 weeks before Boy broke his neck last year on march 8th. Ah, anyway, it should be nice. I might hang out at the hill with them or I might hang out with the wife in the cabin. Either way I get to knit and read so I dont care.

I had my first "buisness" meeting on Monday morning with a yarn rep. It was so cool. It took about three hours to go through the lines I wanted to carry and we wrote up 3 orders. Im not going to put all 3 in at once, we just wrote them up so I can remember what yarn I want in what color and how much of it.
I still have to go to the county clerks office to to get my tax ID, open the buisness bank account along with a credit/debt card and Im on my way. I cant wait till it finally opens!!

Start them engines!

NHRA drag racing has offically started today!! Im so excited I could pee myself. I love drag racing so much. Granted its only qualifing, but its racing just the same. Finals are on tomorrow. Im a bit bummed though because my favorite race, Melanie Troxel moved from Top Fuel to Funny Car this year. I think she rocked more in Top Fuel.

Anyway, Monday is my first "offical" meeting for my buisness. I admit, Im alittle geeked. Im meeting with a yarn rep. to go over different lines of yarn I want to carry and pricing. Im excited. Things really seem to be moving along. Being off because of my knee is helping too because I have alot of time on my hands.

My knee hurts like hell. Its a different kind of hurt now. Its the deep, bone jarring pain that I assume comes when they drill holes into your bones. Its aching and I just cant get it confortable. Its driving me fucking crazy. And the pain pills really arent helping this pain either.

I got presents in the mail yesterday from my girlies on Ravelry.com. Tia and Kelly sent me a "care package" to make me feel better. I got some super sweet sock yarn from Knitting Like Crazy in the colorway named, and Im sure it was on purpose, Ski Trip. Ill take pics of it later. I also got some beautiful stitch markers, an awesome smelling candle, a cute little project bag from Kelly from Chix, and some German Chocolate cheesecake lipbalm (sooo yummy!). It made me feel so good to open it. Lets me know my girls care about me.

I also got another present in the mail today from my friend Dave, who is in the band Woodward, which is absolutly fucking awesome. I seriously suggest you check them out because they fucking rock!! Sleep

Why am I up at this ungodly hour? Well, the pain meds arent working and neither are the sleeping pills. So Im currently flipping between Candyman and Law & Order. Boy gets up in an hour and half and my cooling machine is warm because it needs more ice.

If anyone knows how to design banner links, or things of the such, let me know. Im gonna need some for advertising the new buisness on websites.

Thrusday

Its Thrusday. Nothing much going on except for the over a foot a snow we got last night. I get to dig my car out of snow to go to PT. Grrr.... My knee is looking pretty good though. I have an incision on my thigh that you cant see.

UFO

Ok, I discovered a little boil looking thing that was seeping on my knee a little while ago when I unwrapped it. Normally it wouldnt be a big deal, but the UFO isnt near any of my incisions so Im thinking its not a good thing. Im morbig to I took some pictures of it so i can send them to the doctor before I go in because its snowing really hard outside and I dont want to go out if I dont have too. That and I can get ahold of the doctors office, suprise, suprise.
